George Tsypin's fantastical forms communicate with chaos, like glimmers of order in an entropic universe. They call to mind the Constructivist works of the early 20th century.
1000' TOWER ON THE HUDSON
An interior truss-and-pier system supports two helixing rails that carry observation cars. Schematic and structural development happened chiefly through physical models.
Inspired by Calvino's Invisible Cities, this amorphous installation represents the city as an organism, a readable figure in both plan and section.
Cast resin figurines, magnets, plexiglass.
